So, if you’ve been keeping track then you know I had a great new cover for Maldene Volume II commissioned, the second half of the first novel.  Well, I’ve also been working on getting a proper conversion to ebook as well, the problem being one of the appendices.  For you see, the end of this first novel sports a number of appendices at the end, including one with the Maldene alphabet.  This requires using my own special font, which apparently is not always used on all ebook systems (if you tell your Kindle to use only your own local fonts and ignore what I put in there then the alpghabet characters will look like random alphabetical garbage).  But that little technical difficulty has been solved and the final version of the Volume II ebook has just come in.  Looks great!

So, when should you expect to see anything?  I mean, now that both halves of the first novel are ready to go in both print and ebook, I should start engineering a big push, right?  Well, that’s coming.  Can’t give a date just yet, and there may yet be one or two marketing hurdles to leap, but it’s coming, as well as a couple of other things.  Like what, you ask?

The world map that you’ll find on the inside cover has not only been spruced up, a few more (okay, lot more) place names added, but a fully color old map style version of it has been made that will figure in some future promotion (maybe if you buy both volumes at the same time- still working that out too).

Also, a picture of a certain dancing lamia from Chapter 17 is being finished.  I’m thinking of using her as a sort of mascot, but we’ll see,
