“What if every conspiracy you’d ever heard of was true… and it still wasn’t enough?”

I’ve been dropping bits and pieces of this every now and then, but many a rel ago after I’d completed writing Maldene, I ventured into another new world, this time to result in a 5-book series.  Not as long as the 13 books of Maldene but no less epic.  The story of a perfect and peaceful Earth; perfect except for the darkness that lies behind every shadow, the things that wait and watch, the creatures and forces behind a conspiracy the likes of which our Earth has never seen.  When werewolves and winged demon cats are real, when alien witches and Elementals are secretly in control of nearly every aspect of our world, then is the time for the development of a new class of weapons with which to fight them, the dawning of a startling new age.

I bring you… Cyberdawn!

A world much like our own Earth with one significant difference:  You can never be paranoid enough.  Every nightmare from the world’s mythologies not only exists, but they’re all in on the same millennia-old plot, and not a single person on the face of this Earth is aware of them.  That would be Black Jack’s first goal, to sound the call to wake up the world while there is still time, then with Dr. Winter, Archbishop O’Malley, Agent Black, and coporate assassin Anya Petrova, find a way to fight them.  For how do you combat creatures of magic and mystic powers with ordinary weapons?
