Hey there blog followers, this time I get to profile another author right here on this very site. S. B. Knight is the co-founder of Premium Promotional Services, a business founded to help other authors gain the exposure they deserve. This, in addition to his full-time job at a civil and environmental engineering company, and of course the writing of his dark fantasy books.

S. B. Knight is the author of Born of Blood, a story set in the Dark Fantasy genre, and now has just come out with another entitled Drago’s Revenge, Book 2 of The Blood Chronicles that Born of Blood began. Drago’s Revenge is the next step as the author continues to pursue his passion for writing novels that deliver both thrills and chills. Synopsis for Drago’s Revenge: Book 2 of The Blood Chronicles.
The birth of a child is a time for joy and celebration. For Sam and Reba, it is a time for concern and worry. Concern for what could be and worry for what lurks in the shadows. They both know Reba’s baby, Christian, is special. But Drago waits in the darkness, and he, also, knows how special the child is. He knows what the child’s birth means. Now Drago stalks them, waiting for his moment to strike and claim Christian for his own evil purposes. As he unleashes his sinister plan, Sam and Reba fight to survive and keep their newborn out of his clutches.
Chased by a group of would-be vampires manipulated by Drago, Sam and Reba are forced to abandon their home and find sanctuary in once forgotten locations. But they are not alone in this fight as family and friends arrive. Will it be enough?
Life will be lost, blood will be spilled, painful memories, and emotions will torment minds…all part of Drago’s revenge.

Why did he write his novels?
In his own words, he’s a big horror and dark fantasy fan. Vampires are his favorite, with werewolves a close second. Then six years ago he discovered the desire to write a novel, or at least try to. After a failed attempt he searched for a new topic to write. It was during a discussion about vampire movies and novels that the inspiration then hit him. As the story developed and grew, it expanded into a trilogy. He also saw it as a challenge – could he write a unique and intriguing vampire novel?

His Publisher
S. B. Knight is published through MuseItUp Publishing. At the time he was submitting Born of Blood, he had three publishers interested in the manuscript. He decided to go with MuseItUp Publishing because he’d met the publisher at a previous event and was impressed with her drive, high standards, and knowledge of the publishing world. MuseItUp is a small to medium size publisher. Early on he decided to go in that direction so he could have the opportunity to learn more about the publishing business and have more hands on experience.

Life as an author
Mister Knight says that life as an author is not much more different than regular life except for the writing, where we get to have fun and explore the world with our imagination. The other side of the coin is not so fun. The job of an author is never over. We write but we must also promote our titles and our name. Building an audience and exposure is the name of the game. It is rewarding but the passion must be there.
