The more astute of you guys may have noticed some slight changes on the Ordering page; namely, that “Maldene: Volumes One And Two” is now simply “Maldene”, and to go along with this there is a new Paperback edition that I am producing myself directly through Amazon to replace the one currently printed by the good folks over at URL Ink Print And Media. You will also notice that both the ebook and new paperback have slightly new covers to reflect these changes.
So, why the changes? Well, it’s been building for a while. First, “Maldene” was always meant to be the entire title for the first novel, but things happened (insert long back-story here; if you’re really interested they maybe I can do a podcast on what went down over the years). Now however, other things have happened; good things that could very well make the other things irrelevant.
So, a new beginning it is.
Purchase links (both on my site and Facebook) have been updated accordingly, and the new cover spread hither and yon. But what, pray tell, is it that prompted this sudden flurry and new changes? What new and important event has finally hit our ever-beleagered Author? What new– (okay, cut the hyperbole already and just tell us!)
Now where’s that drum-roll wav file when I need it… Oh, well never mind. As I was saying, there is an outfit up in Canada– and soon to be found around the world– known as OTune Radio, a subsidiary of NRW Studios, with whom I am now associating. I’ve already written a script with them (oops, can’t say anymore, and that would be a separate post anyway), while for their part they seem to have no problem with wanting to splash my face all over the place (look for an interview I did with them coming soon).
This afore-mentioned face-splashing includes a regular series of videos of me handing out my writing tips; just like the few I have down here on my site, but in video. World-wide. Stuttering and all. More details will be posted as I get them, including links, kinks (got one in my neck right now), and Eldar’s treastie on how to pull practical jokes on Mauklo and get away with your soul intact.
Everything should be going up soon, but in the meantime you can find OTune Radio right here.
Oh yeah, and in a month or two there may also just me a paperback edition of “Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde”.
