One of the secondary characters of Maldene, Blag-ak is a ten-foot tall ogre whose intelligence is about equal to his shoe size. Never able to string more than four words together at a time, he can be, nevertheless, a valuable asset in combat… as long as you know how to keep him aimed in the right direction.

Stupid but lovable, he walks around with several severed heads hanging from his belt; the object of much discussion as to exactly why he keeps them around. He does have a reason, but I will leave that for the story to tell. As for his involvement with the group, his simple mind knows a single loyalty to them and while he will gladly fight for his friends, one had best keep the orders very simple. Something like “Blag-ak, KILL!”

There is also one in particular that he will come to be close friends with, a little companion that, despite his far smaller stature, is the only one that can get away with slapping the ogre and scolding him while he rides on the big creature’s shoulders. But, that’s getting ahead of ourselves.
